The Schamberger Opera House, circa 1910, is a locally designated historic landmark. And while there are hints of the theatre at the second floor and loft, the storefront facade has changed many times to accommodate the original soda fountain, the midcentury car dealership, or the professional offices that are now located there. This storefront design is a call to remember and celebrate the drama and history of the building while recognizing its contemporary realities.
