Keeping the Family

Project: Historic Home Remodel for Aging in Place

Scope: Renovation, Remodel, Multiple Additions

Location: Tennessee

Status: Under Construction

The long-time owners of this 1910’s Foursquare home needed to remodel their beloved home to plan for an expanding family with grandchildren and aging in place.

Because of the lot restrictions, the first floor addition wraps around 3 sides of the home. This creates a new keeping room, an expanded kitchen, a breakfast room, and a ground level suite for the owners. The exterior was also fully renovated with new columns, siding, windows, shutters, trim, and roofing.
